Description

This unit will use the structural principles met by Students in their Civil and Structural Engineering courses and through the use of case studies explore a series of themes that influence both Architectural and Structural Engineering design. This forms a platform on which to explore the complex relationship between Architects and Engineers and critically question the education, design processes and perceived role defined by both professions and how they influence the resulting built environment.
